JC Ford’s tostada and taco production lines are purpose-built systems to produce high-quality corn-based shells. These lines integrate key modules such as heavy-duty masa mixers, pre-sheeters, high-capacity sheeters, ovens, cooling (equilibrators), and fryers to deliver consistent, industrial-scale output.

With high heat transfer efficiency, the JC Ford Heat Exchanger reduces energy consumption by 40%, resulting in significant cost savings and a reduction in operational expenses. Its efficient design also promotes gentle heat, improving oil quality and ensuring superior cooking conditions for the best possible product. 

The JC Ford Fryer System is engineered to produce high-quality tortilla chips, corn chips with efficiency and precision. Designed to minimize oil volume, these fryers are equipped with advanced filtering technology to maintain optimal oil and product quality. Core components include the Fryer, Fines Filtration, and Heat Exchanger. Optional accessories like Oil Storage Tanks, Demisters, and Water Recirculation systems enhance performance, making it a reliable solution for high-efficiency frying operations.

The JC Ford Masa Mixer is engineered to deliver consistent, uniform hydration of masa flour for producing taco and tostada shells, tortilla chips, corn tortillas, and other masa-based products. It is available in 400-, 600-, and 800-pound batch capacities and features a sigma-blade design that provides gentle, efficient mixing. Built from heavy-gauge stainless steel and powered by a high-torque drive system, the mixer offers long-lasting durability and reliable performance. Standard features include a heavy-duty hydraulic bowl tilt, with optional integrated water metering and flour delivery systems to enhance automation and control.
